Friday, December 11, 2020 – Zoom virtual platform
JA Guam Board members Jane Ray and Jason Katigbak hosted a finance department workshop on Friday, December 11, 2020, through the zoom virtual platform. The workshop was geared towards the Finance department Vice Presidents to assist them with completing the requirements of the JA Guam Company Program.
The student officers are tasked with providing a Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, distribution of salaries, commissions, and stocks to their company employees and stock holders. This information will be provided in the company’s Annual Report which will be reviewed by a judging panel. They are competing for the Vice President of Finance of the Year award which will be presented at the annual banquet. The students will be interviewed during the Company of the Year competition which will be held virtually on January 9, 2021.
