Saturday, October 2, 2021 – Zoom Virtual Platform
Deloitte Southeast Asia and Guam delivered the first of a two-day Business Ethics session to students of the Junior Achievement Guam Company Program. The virtual program took place on Saturday, October 2, 2021, and was attended by about 50 students.
The program is a collaboration between Deloitte offices in Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia and Guam. The program was extended to JA Guam through its Executive Director Pinki Lujan who incorporated the session into the ongoing Company Program. The course was facilitated by Shaon Hao Lee of Singapore, Kelly Kok of Malaysia, Silver Kim Ibale of Cebu, Philippines, Aina Osman of Thailand, Thanh Binh Vu of Vietnam and Deborah K Hartzler of Guam.
The initial day’s program was an introduction to Ethics and Ethics leadership where the students learned the concept of ethics and integrity, major theoretical approaches in ethics and integrity, and to apply theoretical approaches to ethical dilemmas. In module 2 the learned outcome was what constitutes ethical leadership and ethical decision making in leadership settings.
Day 2 course will be held through the zoom virtual platform on October 9 at 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Guam time. Interested students may contact Pinki Lujan at JA Guam.
