“The executives of JA Guam are extremely proud of the accolades bestowed upon our representatives, Fouha Crafts, as we congratulate and celebrate with them for their first-place finish in the JA Asia-Pacific Company of the Year competition 2022. We acknowledge the hard work and perseverance they endured through these difficult times as well as the dedication each member invested to ensuring that they represented our island with pride and dignity. We extend our appreciation to their mentors and company sponsor Title Guaranty and look forward to the continued growth of our organization on our island. We wish our team all the best as they represent our island and region in the global stage. Finally, we thank all our partners and students for giving us the opportunity to work together through our pillars of work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship, in creating a brighter future for our island.” says Joey Miranda III, Chairman of JA Guam’s Board of Directors.
Fouha Crafts, President: Mark Wang said: “It’s an honor and humbling opportunity for us to be the team that not only is going to represent Guam, but the entire Asia Pacific region at the global level. It’s a great opportunity to learn from students in other parts of the world and how they’re using their time in JA to learn, grow, and impact their communities. Other than that, I really hope we can travel!” who competed alongside Joanne Park and Sebastian Lee.
Sebastian is the Vice President of Finance and he said: “I’ve learned many things through JA, but the main takeaway from this competition is effective communication within the team. It is wonderful to have skilled teammates but without good communication it means nothing. I’m glad that I learned to be more precise with my communication.”

Fouha Crafts will move on to represent JA Asia Pacific sometime in April 2023 in the De La Vega Awards, competing against the other five JAWorldwide regions: JA USA, JA Europe, JA Africa, JA Americas, & JA Injaz Al-Arab Ja Mena – representing 115 countries from all over the world.
Vice President of Marketing, Joanne Park adds: “Huge shoutout to our team’s five amazing advisors from Title Guaranty: Mr. Ryan Mummert, Mr. Shin Taira, Mrs. Michaela Pangilinan, Ms. Gillian Nisperos, and Mr. Jonathan Bondoc. We are able to be where we are today through their constant support and mentorship. And of course, a big shoutout to the entire Fouha Crafts team for sticking with us throughout the entire season and contributing your ideas and time. Best of luck to all of you in the new Junior Achievement season!”
